About Sue Woodford
Sue Woodford is the Team Photographer. She’s the eye behind the camera lens capturing Carole’s listings in their best light.
Sue first met Carole Evans at a showing. Sue and her husband arrived at the house with a busy toddler and infant in tow. When Carole opened the home’s patio doors to reveal a large, unfenced pool that took up most of the yard, she looked at the family and said, “This is not the house for you.” It was that honesty that endeared her to Carole from the get-go. The feeling was mutual. After reading one of Sue’s articles in the Ottawa Citizen Carole called to offer some freelance writing work. The rest is history.
Sue is no stranger to the Ottawa area. Although born and raised overseas she spent a number of years living in Orleans and has called Stittsville home since 1995. After a year at Carleton University she chose to pursue her love of news photography and enrolled in the Photojournalism program at Loyalist College. After graduation, she embarked on an 8-year career as a reporter/photographer at the Kanata Kourier-Standard. Her dedication and creativity was recognized by her peers. She has received four awards for both writing and photography from the Ontario Community Newspaper Association (OCNA).
Over the years she has worked for both the communications and planning departments of the former City of Kanata, volunteered to manage communications for the Stittsville Co-operative Nursery School and worked as a freelance writer having numerous features on housing and design published in the Ottawa Citizen.
For the self professed MLS junkie the opportunity to join Carole’s team as Manager of Creative Services is the perfect marriage of her skills, experience and interests…and provides a daily fix for her real estate addiction!
